Fresh Green Bell Pepper - Per Lb
Bright, glossy, green and blocky-shaped, Green Pepper generally has three to four lobes. Its green color is essentially a reflection of the fruits immaturity. Firm, juicy and thick-fleshed, the Green Pepper is less sweet and almost bitter in taste especially when eaten raw, as it has not been allowed to fully ripen and sweeten on the vine. They are often served fresh and raw, in chopped green salads, or sliced as an appetizer for dips and spreads.
